This two-part product is designed based on epoxy resin and polyamide hardener, and due to the high percentage of zinc powder in the paint, it protects the metal surface by cathodic protection against corrosive factors. This primer has a good drying speed and is compatible with a wide range of middle and top colors. It is also possible to use this primer on surfaces immersed in water.
When a small defect occurs on the last coating on the metal surface, zinc-rich epoxy primers perform their duties to prevent corrosion and also interrupt the electrochemical reactions based on corrosion. The grade of zinc-rich epoxy primers depends on the purity of zinc materials and the electrical conduction process between the metal surface and zinc particles, and most importantly, the amount of moisture in the environment. Due to the fact that the zinc material in the primer has anodic properties, but the same materials become cathodic in contact with iron surfaces. Finally, when the zinc particles turn into zinc oxide, that is the point at which the sacrificial protection has ended.

How to use
Surface preparation : The desired surface must be free from any pollution, for this purpose, methods such as applying wind pressure, washing with detergents and thinners can be used. Then do blasting (rust removal) on the surface according to the standard (SSPC-SP10) up to Sa2.5-3. After removing the rust, remove the resulting particles from the surface with air pressure and dry completely. After one hour of surface preparation, apply the primer.
How to use : The following devices can be used to apply this color :
- Spray with air: (pressure 3-4 atmospheres) nozzle opening 1.6-1.8 mm
- Airless spray: (pressure 6-7 atmospheres) nozzle opening 0.43-0.53mm
- Roller
- brush (for small surfaces)
