Silicon heat resistant paint are generally produced from resins that are in the category of mineral resins. In these resins, unlike other common resins, instead of a long carbon chain, a chain of silicon and oxygen forms the main structure of the resin. The silicon atom can also form long chains by forming four covalent bonds, like what is done in other resins and polymers such as polyethylene and by the carbon atom. Silicone paint is one of the thermoplastic paints and it should be noted that the glossiness of these paints decreases when exposed to heat.

Some of the unique features of this product are : Very good adhesion to the surface | Heat resistance up to 600 degrees | Celsius Desirable appearance of silver color and semi-gloss | Corrosion resistance and surface protection | No color change due to heat | High speed of paint drying.
In general, the main application of these coatings is on surfaces that are in continuous contact with a high-temperature heat source. Common industrial paints such as polyurethane and epoxy usually withstand temperatures of around 100-120°C.
Silicone fireproof paint is an ideal option for covering structures that are in the vicinity of heat. Below are examples of the use of this color for different surfaces :
- Inner lining of the fireplace wall
- The inner wall of furnaces, boilers, chimneys, refineries and power plants
- Chemical plant equipment, pipes and tanks
Surface preparation : The desired surface should be cleaned from any contamination such as dust, oil, grease, etc.
How to use : The following devices can be used to apply this color :
- Airless spray: pressure 6-7 atmospheres (nozzle opening 0.457-0.914mm)
- roller
- brush (for small surfaces)
How to use : First, mix the two components separately and then add the hardener (component B) to the color (component A) according to the mixing percentage mentioned on the label and mix until it is completely uniform and ready to use. According to the useful life after mixing, you should mix the amount of color that can be consumed in this period of time. The ambient temperature for coloring should be 10-40 degrees Celsius. The temperature of the surface during painting should be at least 3 degrees Celsius above the dew point and the air humidity should be at most 80%, and the surface should be free of ice and moisture.
Romolo ionized heat-resistant silicone paint is produced and supplied in 20kg bottles.
